I used to get up at 4am, workout, make a protein shake, and then get the kids up. Now that I'm no longer accommodating someone else's schedule, I've started sleeping in (til 6 lol). The big problem is if I get out of bed, the baby wakes up. I really need to find a way to get my workouts in first thing in the morning. That will also help with problem #2
With the new schedule I'm not working out til 9 or 10am. I've also been skipping breakfast. Yeah, that's a big no-no and that stopped today. Skipping breakfast if I don't eat breakfast I forget to eat all damn day. I'm 90% sure I'm not getting enough calories. I'm going to really focus on making sure I get enough food.
Problem #3 is water.. I HAVE to drink more.. a lot more. Yesterday I got in 2qts.. I really need a gallon if I don't want to retain water weight. Alright.. I think I've got this.
KenpoX is later today, it's one of the few workouts I really can't do with the baby awake. She likes to get under foot, which is a huge problem when I'm trying to twist and pivot! I'd put her on my back, but there's too much movement for her to fall asleep, and She kinda freaks out with the kicks.
This will be the month I break this plateau. Really.
Of course you will!
ReplyDeleteYou have a very positive attitude and the right motivation ;-)
Best regards,

I had to get one of those Brita sports style water bottles so I would drink more water. It has the filter built in so I can't use the excuse that I don't like the taste of tap water.
ReplyDeleteIt gets filled up and I leave it on my computer desk in the living room. Sure, it probably makes me look lazy because I won't get up to get a glass of water...but I drink down at least 2-3 of these bad boys a day just sitting at the computer.
Then when I do the Insanity thing, easily another 2 bottles.
You rock!
That Britta water bottle is a great idea! I try to mix it up with tea, zero calorie Powerade and Crystal Light.. I'm gonna get cancer I just know it.
ReplyDeleteMonika-- It's funny that you say that. As much as I hate to admit it, my mood and attitude are MUCH better after I workout. I did get in a 2 mile walk with the baby yesterday.
