Days 23 & 24

Saturday was rest day.  Shhhh don't tell Tony Horton, he may come kick my @$$.  I had every intention of doing Kenpo, but life happened.  I spent hours in Home Depot getting the exact right shade of Heather Grey for my dining room (The big girl thinks it's too purple, but I LOVE it!)  Came home, and went to work.  I finished the 1/2 bath downstairs, did some touch ups in the living room and painted the dining room.  Then the decluttering started.  Oh my! Dishes had to be done, the laundry room unpacked from the non tornado, and just general stuff that didn't get done while we all had the plague.  I was on a roll! Around 8pm I hit play, but the little one thought it was great fun to ride me like a horse during the frog pose.  When I started twisting and pivoting it was clear one of us was going to end up hurt (probably me.)

Today, however, I got up early and BROUGHT IT! Yep, even the jumping jacks.

I will say it'll be a small miracle if I ever get the star blocks down.

These are small children doing the same move with ease.  I have to be the least coordinated person on the planet.

Tomorrow the March Challenge starts.  I've gotta take measurements, and my "goodbye" pics.. or "before" I"ll just call them progress shots.

Tomorrow also starts week 4.. Not gonna lie, I'm a little stressed out by that.

  1. Don't feel badly about not being coordinated. I am not either!! LOL! It makes me feel better knowing that I am not the only one out there who does exercise videos/shows/P90X and thinks "Dear Lord, I am a total clutz!" A friend said that one reason I was unsteady was because I'm used to carrying around more weight than I am now (I'm down 33 pounds so far!!) and that my core muscles and such are figuring out how to move again. :)) That's your excuse now too!
